Petrol costs...
Sorry, but HOW THE HELL can you justify £1.08 for a litre of petrol!!! Christ, when I started driving 7months ago I paid barely 95p a litre (and that was thought to be exspensive then!!) but a 13p increase per litre in just 7months is ridiculous! I remember - when I was 6-7 - my dad paying like 45-50p a litre!! What happened to those days =( My car holds 40 odd litres; that's £43.20 to fill it up!! And that will get us what... 300-350miles? So to London and back. £43.20 to get to London and back 0_o Screw that! lol.
Sorry about that, just had to be said. Anybody else feeling this burn yet?

Re: Petrol costs...
Was gonna say lol. 18 here and I can tell you one thing, when you learn to drive, it is going to cost you, quite literally, an arm and an leg! Christ, I spent like.. £500-600 learning (includes 25 lessons, theory test and practical test). So good luck lol

Re: Petrol costs...
You could try I guess?! lol. But yeah, it's getting stupid. For instance; last week I paid £1.07 a litre, this week I paid £1.08! Putting it £20's worth of fuel lost me 0.59 litres!!!! lol. THat's like.. 10-15miles lost! Just for the sake of an extra penny! ><

Re: Petrol costs...
Ouch! Is that petrol of Diesel though? Diesel is always more expensive, but apparently more efficient. I ran some maths by and worked out a diesel needs to do about 45k worth of miles a year before it becomes cheaper than a petrol... 0_o lol

Re: Petrol costs...
diesel and a believe well accordin to my Dad its 44k miles a year before its cheaper?
Re: Petrol costs...
Give or take, yeah. Depends how much is costs in your area etc. But 44k for the average driver is a fair bit! Unless your a business man or taxi driver or whatever, how likely is it that your going to drive 44k if much over it?

Re: Petrol costs...
Yeah, mine does about 80-90k a year. But I meant in general purposes; for instance, myself. Probably about 15-20k a year depending. My mum... 15k if she's lucky. When you narrow it down to that, it gets a bit silly!

Re: Petrol costs...
Not really, no. Their just as unhealthy as one another. Only difference these days is the addition of bio chemicals to fuel (a total of 5% ) lol.

Re: Petrol costs...
Governments idea of making fuel more 'enviromentally friendly.' What they fail to see is, if we switch to bio fuels or add more to our current petrol, etc... we will need to grow more sun flowers etc to produce to bio fuels which, in turn, will probably have a knock on effect with nature?! lol. Never ending cycle for the win!

Re: Petrol costs...
I would agree, but it's not really practical?
